Been on Yetis since the late 90's. My latest is a NOS 2013 Big Top. Love these bikes!
My bike's dog broke into 3 parts recently. It broke around the screws section. I do not perform stunts. I just cycle on the tarmac road. I stopped using the bike when the part snapped yesterday night while crossing the traffic lights. I am not sure where to get the replacement spare. I got the Yeti 575 frame at around 2010 year. I don't know it the part will fit, because different years may have different part size. Pls help.
Ordered a replacement swing arm for my sb66c , it took 3 weeks to arrive and when it did I was very disappointed ! The rubber protection was either peeling off and in some places missing , the quality of the carbon was poor ie it was very patchy and quality of paintwork the same . The drop out was completely different and it looks like the replacement frame is thinner in places and has been redesigned. Iv been told off silverfish that this is how yeti manufacture them now ? Anybody else had any issues with the swing arm ??
I've got an SB-95C the wife got me for Christmas a few years back (I'm Nancy's husband). I love the bike, it rides tough and great, however I now on my THiRD rear triangle. I ride hard but I'm not a professional. Maybe the problem is I weigh 202-210. Maybe the other riders are 150-170 or something. I met the yeti guys in snowmass last year and suggested they send me a bike to test ride so they could get a reasonably aggressive rider who weighs over 200 to see how well it holds up.
