From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere reminded me of the old school Asian barbers I grew up with in Thai. No gimmicks or trendy Portland nonsense. Yen took the time and paid attention to detail, never rushed, and made sure everything was proper. Asian hair is extremely course and difficult for Americans to cut. I’ll be back very soon. Yen is the best!

I decided to chop off my hair and found Yen’s hair salon while I was looking for a new hair place! She was so nice and we talked the whole time! They only take cash and she was able to fit me in the next day (definitely call before going). I was so nervous about getting my hair cut short and am grateful I found this place.

Best haircut I’ve had in a long time. Good with Asian straight hair. Also the ladies are friendly and don’t rush the haircut.

Yen did a good job. Came in for a trim and now my hair feels healthy! She also cut my bangs. She’s nice to chat with. Bring cash and it’s street parking (lot is for the little store).

Great service each time! I have been going here for about 2-3 years for regular haircuts and the service is always fair, kind, and quick.
