Greatest haircut – When I moved back to Palm Beach County, I'm so glad I remembered Jesse Briggs who owns the Yellow Strawberry in Ft. Lauderdale. It's definitely worth the drive to have a hairdresser who's a true artist who knows how to do layers properly especially for my naturally curly hair. do not use this salon – Don't go to Sarasota especially. They try to be an upscale salon but they do not listen. They ruined two of my friend hair and mine!
Too good to pass up!! – I LOVE this salon. I went to get a full head of highlights for 95$ (a summer special) and the color is AMAZING. The owner, Jesse, is so talented and knew exactly the color for me to look natural and great. It really complements my skin tone and looks amazing. Beware - and the owner is obnoxious – Just went there on Saturday and it was a DISASTER. The stylist got brown hair dye ALL OVER me - she ruined my entire outfit - I had to throw the pants and the top away. She also got dye all over my face, and after repeatedly scrubbing with nail polish remover it finally came off the next day. Never Paranoid... – Last year, I got a terrible cut and color at Regis that desperately needed to be fixed. My ends were white, and my roots were bright orange. In fear of another hair stylist tormenting my locks even further, I decided to try and fix it myself... I dyed it dark brown. By that time, it was dried out and pretty lifeless. The assisted staff were courteous, but when it came time for my haircut the stylist had little to offer when I asked her opinion. This place was voted best place for a new hair style, yet I walked out of there feeling as though I had been on a production line and could have had the same outcome at super cuts.
Best Salon in South Florida – I have been going to Jesse Briggs at Yellowstrawberry monthly for over 4 years now. I have long hair and highlights that require lots of maintenance. I love the salon, the service and the atmosphere. I have never been to another salon where the stylist does exactly what I ask for and I leave feeling great about my hair while having a great time.
