Good waitress service, large portions, excellent food, and a Senior menu for ages FIFTY FIVE (55) and up. Ample parking and easy to get to from Routes 35, 36, and the Garden State Parkway. Since Ye Cottage Inn washed away in October of 2012 to Hurricane Sandy (nice B&W photo of it by the Yellow Rose entrance) this is our new diner stop when in the Keyport area or headed down the shore through Monmouth County in Jersey.
normally go to a nearby chain place for breakfast and there was a long wait so we decided to try this place. Couldn't be happier, food was great, service was great! Think we found a new breakfast spot.
Janine, is attentive, friendly and one of the best waitresses we have ever had the pleasure of being served from. The menu is vast and the prices are reasonable.
We have ordered numerous different items from the menu and have always been pleased with what we ordered. The soups , entrees , and desserts have been delicious and generous in portions . The staff has always been very courteous and accommodating as my husband is in a wheelchair . We enjoy going there as it has a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere.
