Great old timey butcher meat shop w/ delicious game burgers.! I had the 12pt buck Tuesday burger & husband & baby boy had the buffalo burger & fries.! They sell special game meat such as elk, venison/deer, buffalo, boar & even longhorn. Burgers were perfectly big & fulfilling w/ special buns.! I heard the pies are awesome.! Beef cheeseburger was great. Bought Package F and stocked the freezer with fresh beef, pork & chicken. The staff was beyond friendly & helpful. Got there at 10:45 and was hoping to get a variety of fried pies but they had an event the day before so they were out of a lot of flavors, no worries since I'll be back. They did get busy while we were there & that's a good sign. Wasn't aware packages & larger orders should be placed at least a day in advance so that's good info to know.
We love it here. We use them to process our deer, we buy meat here and the food is amazing. We love the Elk burgers and buffalo burgers. Jeff and his crew are the best.
Some friends and I go every Wednesday for the Elk burgers. Always friendly and fast service and excellent food. If you're into spicy food I suggest you try their hatch green chili and their red sauces. they're delicious!
The owner and his family that run the place are great to talk to.The best burger (beef or buffalo) and homemade fried pies. Also they have a meat counter to get all kinds of other stuff.
