The best hotel in Manhattan if you love cats and weird art! A true New York City experience.

This Single Room Occupancy (SRO) hotel had spectacular, if dated 1970's sculptures and paintings throughout the hallways and rooms. If you are only in town for one or two nights it is worth your while to book a room, just to feel your eyes popping. I don't know any other place in Manhattan like it. By the way, I haven't stayed here (I wish I did), but our French friends spent a week, so my eyes popped for free. Check each floor. Daunting check-in.
