Service was bad didn't clear empty plates for a small table forgot some of our order didn't bring us additional water. Especially for a very hot day. The only positive I can say was the food was decent.
Service was horrible. Food is great - that is why they get 2 stars. But the service was absolutely terrible.
Great place to eat an entre or a mixture of smaller dishes. Food is always good.
My server was awesome, the food was amazing!! The only thing I didn't like was the lemon drop drink, it was so sour? It was not to my liking.
This restaurant is real Japanese Izakaya style and all food is real Japanese taste. fantastic!!!� I think Izakaya Maru is the best Japanese restaurant in Portland. Especially, head chef came from Japan. � He has good sense of flavor.
