I was looking for a new place to bring my puppy maltese. The pictures & reviews on this site looked good but when i called i was told they are NOT accepting NEW clients....i guess they dont need any more business? So if youre looking for a new place DONT waste your time calling here.

I had been going to my local vet for grooming my Shih-Tzu for the past three years, and the girl that usually does the grooming left to go back to school. Anyway, I found Yaps Fifth Avenue (how cute is that?) in the local Yellow Pages, and made an appointment for my dog. I left him at 2 and went back early at 3:15 and she wasnt finished, but let me sit in the waiting room and have a cup of coffee. I really liked her work and she was clean and so was the salon. Here is my experience with Yaps Fifth Avenue dog groomers on 3/17/09. My dog was sprayed by a Skunk, and my husband and I called everyone in the Athens phone book to find a groomer who would be able to get rid of the smell. Yaps Fifth Avenue was the only one who said they would take him. I rushed over to them, and the lady stopped dealing with the dog she was trimming on the table and put Rusty in the tub.
