As a long term patient with yankee Valley, I come in twice a year on schedule, always rebook, and have never not shown up to my appointments. Today, I called in as soon as they opened because I unfortunately woke up with whatever virus is going around. (Includes sneezing, coughing, sore throat etc.) I was lectured about how I'm supposed to give 24 hours notice (which I didn't HAVE 24 hours notice and had intended on coming) and i was told I would be fined next time but the receptionist was "willing to wave it this time." So I'm going to leave 5 stars because I think the doctor is truly amazing. She is kind, professional, and caring. I never got any sense that she was judging me or thought less of me. That said, it's been two years since I went here and I felt really shamed by the hygienist who worked on me. Before coming, I had told them I would need two appointments for my cleaning and to please book it in two separate appts because I hadn't had a cleaning in a long time. Not good, Texting me I have appointments made when I most definitely did not! Texting me they had a free spot for my teeth cleaning if I wanted to come in earlier!! I totally do not do teeth cleaning!! And anyone who knows me knows this is true, so where on earth they get these so called appointments from I do not know!!
