wow. was very disappointed. I come to yamatos alot, the special you have from 4-6 in the sushi bar is great, but for mother's day i decided to go eat hibachi. I should have went to myabis I must say. your house sauces were all watery, including the sauce for the tempoura (which the battery and vegetables had no flavor) and creamy sauce for salad. I can tell the miso soup is mostly hot water. my server was awesome, but the cook was not very fun or talkative... he just cooked my food while we all looked around at other tables ... read more
RecommendedYou definitely get more then what you pay for! The dinner portions are enough for two people, and they accommodate people with food allergies and those who cannot tolerate gluten. Their scallops are to die for and their fillet mignon is so tender, you could cut it with a fork, as long as you don’t order it well done (who orders filet mignon well done anyways). Awesome food I’ve been going there since senior week of 2002! By far the best resturaunt at the beach although sticky fingers is close to the best!!
I go at least two or three times a week for the sushi it is excellent especially with a Sapporo to compliment your meal...

We had a great cook! He kept us all entertained including my 3 yr old nephew. Food was amazing!
