Recently my 89 year old mother was admitted to BSA. The nursing staff on the fourth floor were courteous & professional. However & in particular; the hospital care physician, Chandana Yalamanchili M.D., provided medical expertise with a dose of common sense. The doctor listened & understood our concerns by explaining precisely the options for the best result. BSA health system is a behemoth. We were fortunate to have a doctor with 20+ years professional medical experience to get my mother back home in good health.

If I could give this physician 0 stars I definitely would. After getting a devastating diagnosis my father was treated worse than a dog. She would not explain anything concerning his diagnosis and got angry when he attempted to ask questions. She refused to let him see an oncologist and basically told him it was his problem and sent him home to die. I’m sorry if you or a family member have to experience the unsympathetic, cruel nature of this physician.
