Avoid a horrible experience – I vote this 0 stars! Was greeted by 7 bored workers reading newspapers - spent $25 for a dripping mess, with no apology. Was offered $5 trade for another really bad pizza - worst pizza experience of my life, am over 50 !! Hope the bad economy shuts them down!!!
Sadly Horrible – We were looking forward to getting take out here since we had read some good reviews and the website's menu made the food seem appealing. I had gotten a gyro here about a year before and thought it was OK, so we decided to give some of the other food a try. My husband called in the order and asked for a calzone and Philly Cheesesteaks which were clearly listed under "subs" on their online menu. He asked to add mushrooms and peppers, and the guy on the phone sounded confused. They also said they didn't have k... read more
Not bad – Pizza outside of NYC is usually a little under cooked and doughy. Yaghi's is no different. I order from there about once a month and if you ask them to make it "well done" it can be really close to a New York pie. (Better not refer to it as a pie though, they'll look blankly at you. haha.) By far the best I've had in Austin. Now if someone could figure out that it's not a bagel if you don't blanche the dough. (It's a roll.)
From A to Z all was horrible – Delivery took more than an hour when quoted 45 mins. Pizza was luke warm. worst ingredients I have ever seen on a pizza! Shredded italian sausage with grissle! you'd be better off buying a dollar pizza at the grocery store. Now I have to figure out what to eat for dinner...again.
Best pizza in Austin- hands down – Being from Brooklyn I am always on the hunt for the best pizza in town and I've finally found it at Yaghi's. Crisp and very tasty. The garlic knots are not the proper size but they are pretty good. They need to open a store up north!
great pizza for Austin – be aware: citysearch NEVER updates their stars ratings at top... great pizza. Not quite NYC quality as advertised, but thats probably b/c there not really Italians making it. Nonetheless quite good - I suggest picking up, not delivery as they can be slow. Pizza can be slightly soggy if sat around a while. like all pizza. overall - good place for good pickup pizza. gyros arent too large but are decent.
Terrible delivery. – The delivery service has been atrocious the past couple of times. Tonight, they told me it would be 30-40 minutes and ended up taking an hour and a half to get here. When it did, it was luke warm and somewhat soggy. They used to be great, but I've given up on them - an hour and a half is too long to wait for mediocrity.
delicious – i love the pizza, go there often on my luch break. best pizza in town and friendly service. their pizza tastes exactly like real ny pizza, their gyros are also great. i highly recomend trying this place. it is my favorite.
Truly Perfect New York Pizza – I am originally from New York City and you can imagine my disappointment everytime someone in Texas advertises genuine "New York Pizza" but this place is the real deal. The crust is flavorful and thin. There's lots of cheese. The pizza bends just like it's supposed to! I was so surprised by this fabulous pizza in a little strip mall. The customer service is great too. Oh and it's clean. Wow. Don't miss it for a taste of what pizza is supposed to be. I asked and they really are from New York - u... read more
