My ongoing experience with this company has been profoundly less than stellar. To start, last year when my furnace broke down they sent a tech out who looked at it for all of five seconds before deciding that he "couldn't get in there to work on it" and left because he "had other jobs that day." This company left us without heating propane for 3 days in the middle of winter in 2020. Not only were they not answering the phone, their message machine was full. We were forced to call another company to disconnect their tanks and install theirs so that we could have heat so that our pipes wouldn't freeze. Our property has more than one heating system, now they have let us down again by removing tanks they were not supposed to take away. Price gouging at its best ! Then they lower the price when you call them and *****. Every other propane dealer in my area is 1.00 cheaper. So you can lower my gas .. if it’s so how how can you lower it ? I feel sorry for the elderly who don’t understand and pay it ! Price gougers ! Beware
Price Gouging Monopoly We are on the autofill plan and the company waited until our tank was as empty as possible to come fill us at the highest price possible. Charging over a dollar more per gallon of propane then our statewide average. We have no other options as natural gas is not available on our road and they are the only company that will deliver to our area. Looks like it will be a very cold winter in our house.
They don't care if you are on a budget. Charge a dollar or two more per gallon than any other company in the area. Price gouging at its best.
They picked up my tank on 11/5/2020 and I have still not received a refund from this company. They owe me $421.00 Don't use them!
We have been a customer of first Griffith then Superior Plus for several years. We have been on the budget plan for at least the last 8 years and have had their Gold service plan for just as long. All of this is great! What is NOT so great is being on auto fill and still having to call for fuel, then being told our delivery will come on Wednesday and here it is Friday and still no fuel. We are on auto fill yet today we ran out of propane. The temperature was in the low 20’s with dangerously high winds. I called to inform our local company of the situation and was switched over to Superior only to be told I was not authorized to order gas. Of course my husband wouldn’t be home from work till well after they closed. He actually had to step out of a meeting to deal with these people as the temperature in the house had already fallen to 50 degrees and I was home sick today. I just do not understand why I have to pay over $2.00 more a gallon for propane because I do not use over a certain amount a year. Delivery on October 7th, 2020 I was charged $4.599 per gallon. Customer since May 2007 but only recently, since retirement, have been able to monitor cost due to multiple deployments. Will have to research other options.
