I'm on the auto refill..I come home to them putting 119.4 gallons in which they charges me 596.56...im single 60 yr old lady on one income. All my neighbors get propane for less than $3. Thus hurts! 100 will only last a little while in this cold I feel taken advantage of.
Paid way too much for propane. We have been a customer with Superior Plus for a long time now. We ordered propane to be filled and were charged $5.919/per gallon....EXCUSE ME!!! We have another house in Maryland and we were charged $2.91/gallon. How can this be so? We are new customers for propane (automatic fill) and heating oil (on-call service) in Amston CT. To set up this account to begin with was a complete nightmare. They put the number for a "local" provider on their invoices and if you call that number at all, ******** gas co. says that Superior has their customers call them but they can't help at all and you have to call Superior. This company is very poorly staffed and run. I was a customer of ******'s gas service in Vestal N.Y. for over 25 years and in the last 6 years since Superior Plus Energy has taken over I've had nothing but problems. They demand payment before they will make any type of delivery. I use both propane (cooking) and kerosene (heating) and receive H.E.A.P. which they have already received for 2021 -2022. I fell behind with last year's fuel delivery costs. Continued to pay monthly. It was understood they would not deliver any more fuel until balance was paid, which is what I wanted. Last week they delivered more than $1,000.00 in fuel, ignoring the previous agreement. Now I'm stuck paying for the rest of this winter and can't buy fuel from a competing co-op that is currently .50 cents cheaper per gallon. Superior is crooked.
It is downright scary to think that a company this disorganized and incompetent is entrusted with something as important as heating our homes. They delivered propane to my home that I did not order. I haven't used them in years. I get my gas else where. They said there was a glitch in their system. Now they want me to pay for gas I did not want or need.
