Love this family owned restaurant. The staff make you feel at home, the food is very good and very reasonably priced. Love the prime rib!!! They have a special for $25.00 for 2 prime rib, 2 baked potatoes, and 2 salads, can't beat it!! The atmosphere is quaint and romantic. The bar is cozy. My family and I decided to go into this restaurant for a birthday celebration. Yacovelli's has been around for so long, we figure that it must be good. We go in and my first thought was that it did not have the smell of delicious italian food cooking. The service was fair. The fish special was a cod loin. The white flaky center portion of a cod fish. What we got was cat fish strips. A much cheaper fish. I ordered eggplant parmesan and it was raw, not breaded with no cheese....HORRIBLE. My wife and I really like their prime rib. It is very good. we have attended wedding parties, anniversaries and recently a wedding rehearsal dinner. All considered, it is a very good restaurant to go to. All restaurants should have the rating we give it.
