Great experience buying from Don who served as sellers broker. Very straightforward and down to earth. Nice guy too … well known in the area accd to the survey person i hired. Accessible by phone and email. Has an admin person who knows a ton about forms and unique situations. Made sure my sailboat was packed up tight and safely loaded onto the flatbed that took it xcounty. Couldnt have done this remotely without someone trustworthy on the other end

Don has listed and sold two boats for me. I found him to be a pleasure to work with. both boats sold within four months.

Don is an expert sailboat broker. We have done multiple deals together and I often consult him on sailboats I have listed or have buyers looking to purchase.

I emailed Donald Lord Jones, from the YW add, about a Beneteau 411 currently listed. I asked him if there was a survey available and if he knew any history on the boat. He replied “no survey” and to go read the description on YW. I replied telling him I had read YW but I would have to fly to see the boat and wanted to get all the info possible to determine if it was worth the flight, hotel, ect. I told him we were serious about the boat, but if me asking questions was bothersome to him then we had our answer as far investing... read more

I'm a yacht broker who had a buyer 's deposit on hand for a boat listed by Don Jones and he would not answer any of my multiple calls to set up a tour that the buyers wanted to do before placing their offer. For the owner of the Beneteau 411 in Miami, I tried to help a buyer put an offer on your boat, but it looks like I will be helping them put an offer on another Beneteau 411 instead.
