I limped into this garage today and was charged $100.00 for maybe 20 minutes of work and no parts used. The bill wasn't itemized and there was no actual breakdown of what was done. I was a captive audience and was stuck to paying the bill, but my home mechanic told me he wouldn't have charged more than $40. For the same job.
