Evan Neise is a scam artist. He takes your money and strings you along with excuses then disappears without producing any product
Pretty sad, I put alot of trust into him. He had my Jeep for 6 months straight. Evan and I traded, my winch for heim joint steering. Never got done, here I sit with no winch. He stole my battery! NEVER finished what he said he would. No front skid plate, didnt fix my uniframe the right way, didnt build the boat sides how they should be, didnt finish or build the rear bumper right. Its a disgrace! He decided to run away from Iowa, hes going to keep running, so look out everyone. Hes a crook!
I've spent 3 years trying to get my product and money returned from Evan Niese and XTOR. I finally took XTOR/Evan Niese to court in the State of Iowa; I easily won my case, but he soon fled the state. XTOR/Evan Niese is now in Tennessee, so BUYER BEWARE! He will not return phone calls, messages, or emails, and he does not deliver his product/services as promised.
I'm not sure why others who reviewed XTOR had bad experience. XTOR has done great work on my rig. Bumpers, rock sliders, fender flares, etc. He stands behind his work, and works with customers about their product requests. Also I know a hand full of people who are pleased with his work and keep going to him for their projects. I'd recommend XTOR to anyone looking to get their rigs trail ready.
I had a bumper/brush guard built for my 2005 Silverado. The guy made it exactly how I wanted. I kept changing my mind on stuff and he was always flexible. I ended up rear ending another truck and the only thing that saved mine was the brush guard. Awesome work and awesome quality.
