If you want a good quality door opener at a reasonable price Xtreme Garage Openers are perfect. They are easy to install and if you need help trouble shooting there is a help line with very knowledgeable staff ready to help.
Just replaced our 25 year old craftsman with Xtreme's chain drive model. Works great so far. Replacement parts are reasonable too. The chain/ cable assembly was $70 ish for my craftsman, which is went we decided to just replace it.
Junk do not buy if you live in cold weather, if it gets to 10F or lower these openers don't work. also have had to replace 2 main boards on this unit in 2 years.
Xtreme Garage door opener. Model 425-1669 Absolute piece of junk. We bought this as a replacement for our Chamberlain opener. This has never worked right. We have tried every setting and adjustment it says to do but the door still stops and reverses both going up and down. After 3-4 tries it will finally go up or down Did all the trouble shooting on their site and nothing works. Total waste of money. We are going to have to buy a different brand and eat $140 bucks!
MED lifting, very quiet for a chain driven opener, all remotes, and home link programming worked on the 1st try. Packaging and overall quality was actually better than expected. Installation was very easy, compatible with other senor's (floor) and door push button opener. This product is made by Decko Garage Door Opener's based in Minneapolis.
