Too many negatives. Xpress seriously needs to reconsider the attention to fine detail. Once they tighten up their quality control they will be a top notch line of aluminum boats.
Awsome ride in the chop. I have taken this down to South Louisiana 4 times already and just got the boat in May.
Slag spots all over, dealer knocked price way down for them so I'll live with it. Hull balance wasn't proper and it wants to ride high in the bow, dealer told me to roll Marine Grade JB Weld and place under the aft corner to reduce smoothness under the hull. Poor fix to make a new hull work but effective and better than sending it back. Rides good, welds are not the cleanest (looks like Chinese weld jobs) but is water tight.
I bought an HD16DB on a Back Track trailer. Great dual propose boat. I want to give a big Thank you to Kenny Miller at Express boat. Took my trailer in for a minor repair. They got me in and out in a day. Everyone was very friendly, and Kenny gave me and my wife a tour of the plant. Very impressive, and interesting.
