I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. They get one star because the retaining wall is pretty good. they don't get any more stars because the landscaping was never finished. They did not get a permit for the work. Matt admitted they almost never get a permit for any of their work unless they are forced to. We reached out to Xcel Landscaping for advice on resolving an issue we had with a downspout from our gutters. It was draining near our side door and the area tended to get messy in heavy rains, which was particularly problematic in winter. He recommended a “dry well” in the area, where this water would be diverted and dissipate. We received a quote and a proposed date shortly thereafter.
