This is a horrible company. No one has ever needed competition as bad as this terrible company. Please don't burn down my state and charge me for it again.
Refused to get a smart meter with no evidence of safety, security, or any assurance that costs won't become ridiculous because of their "green energy policy". We've paid 166 dollars plus an additional 16 dollars a month to avoid a smart meter on our home and barn. Its not legal to charge for two meters on one residential property that does not have a commercial business, yet when given access Xcel conveniently didn't tell me they would refuse to put the other analog meter on the barn without a second payment of $166 plus an ... read more
I'd give their mobile app 0 stars if I could. Their system glitched and withdrew double of what I owed on my bill. It is the first time I had that issue, but it will definitely be the last time I use their app for mobile payments That extra money was for groceries in the house! You need to fix the app to cancel payments! Not cool Xcel
Horrible, evil company. They lit half our state on fire due to incompetence. Then raised our rates to compensate for there failures. Then put mandated outages with a certain wind rate. In one of the windiest spots in America. They hold a monopoly over the top of our great state of texas. The day yall have competition will be the day yall go out of business.
