There truly aren’t enough words to express how grateful my family and I are for the care and compassion we received from this funeral home during one of the most difficult times of our lives. Losing my mom was heartbreaking, and having to make so many decisions while grieving was overwhelming. From the very beginning, the staff was incredibly kind, patient, understanding, and supportive. They treated my mom with dignity and respect, and they treated our family with genuine compassion. They didn’t make us feel like we were ju... read more
I highly recommend Wynn Funeral Home in Galveston. The services went smoothly, and the entire team was professional and respectful. Director Christiana was extremely attentive and helpful throughout the process, offering thoughtful suggestions that helped me plan and carry out my mother’s homegoing service. Initially, I had concerns about my mother’s embalmed appearance. I didn’t know much about the process or what questions to ask beforehand, and planning a funeral within two weeks while grieving can be overwhelming. Christ... read more
I would never use Wynn Funeral Home in Galveston, Texas again. During one of the hardest moments for our family, their non-communication, inconsistency, and unprofessionalism robbed us of closure we can never get back. The funeral director was completely unprofessional, and our family car even ran out of gas. They failed to communicate the burial ground schedule, leaving us stranded outside the gates waiting to lay my aunt to rest. Because of their severe delays, I didn't even get to see her go into the ground to say goodbye... read more
My family will never use Wynn Funeral Home again. On Saturday, July 18, Wynn Funeral Home handled the services for my beloved Aunt and Godmother Marie Pines. While the church service was beautiful, everything after that was a complete failure due to poor planning, lack of communication, and a total disregard for our grieving family. After leaving the church around 12:10 p.m. to the burial site, our funeral procession was stopped on the side of the feeder road for approximately 15 minutes before we continued. Once we arrived ... read more
Wynn funeral is no longer owned by the Wynn family. You would not know that by looking at their website. Wynn funeral was entrusted with the funeral of my loved one. They had two funerals scheduled on the same day and the times overlapped. We were at 10 am and the other one was at 11 am. The funeral director, Christina Ross, was not in attendance out my loved one’s funeral but had opted to be at the other funeral. When the funeral was over and it was time to leave to go to the burial site, we had lost one of our police escor... read more
