My grandmother is here and when family visited, they seen crumbs all around the bed and bugs behind the bed. We see other families are having similar issues. So much algae is growing on the balcony door it's starting to restrict sunlight. The dust is so thick on the visiting chairs that you can write your name on it.
Wynhoven Community Care Center Marrero La.My experience there was great.It was one of the best Phy.Thy Rehabs I have ever been to.The therapist there are caring and so very helpful.I will recommend them and if I would ever need rehab again I will go back there.As for all the staff from the Nursing staff down to the housekeeping staff they were great even the business office.Made many nice friends.(oh by the way my room was great also)Elaine Teague

Don't do it!!! Gotta have time to read this review. I strongly recommend that if you want a place where patients come first and their voices and their families voices and concerns mean something this is not the place for you or your loved ones. I arrived here on a Wednesday night. Wednesday morning I was brought a cup of pills by my nurse. When I asked what I was taking she said the same thing you took yesterday??? I cannot say enough good things about how well my father was taken care of at Wynhoven. Everyone was professional, kind, compassionate and courteous to my father and my family.
