Tried multiple times to get in contact with an events coordinator to see the property for a possible wedding. First we filled out the information on the website to have someone contact us, and after a week we never received a call or email. After a week we called and they said the events coordinator was on lunch. So, they took our information and said he would call us back that same day. Never received a call or email. Had a lovely night at this hotel. Came in to town to see my sister run the Ventura Marathon. Cute and clean room with fireplace that kept me cozy 🥰 looks like a well kept pool but I had no free time to enjoy it. Continental breakfast included. The staff I did meet were professional and nice. And it was quiet!! I love that. I don't like noisy hotel neighbors I require rest and sleep. Will absolutely return when I come back to Ventura. Well done, Thank you!
Terrible! Never ever stay here. I ran the ventura marathon 2.23.25 I checked in 2.22.25. When I asked if they would extend my checkout time the next day so I would have some time to come back after the marathon to shower and check out, tthe receptionist didn't know and told me to come by the office in the morning and ask. She also informed me that if I was granted an extended checkout, it would cost me 25 bucks extra an hour. It is a nice hotel with beautiful fireplaces in some of the rooms. The first night we got a room with a fireplace and our dog was elated. The second time around our room did not have a fireplace, but it was big and the dog was able to play with her toys and run around. It had arrows pointing to the beach, but we didn't find it particularly attractive to go down there. The shortcoming of the stay was being blindsided about the $100 non-refundable fee for the dog.
