The room that was given was updated with a view that wasn't expected, corner side ocean.Great price for the location and quality of the room. Been going to Pierpont when area dating back many years. Glad to come back for another stay.
The rooms are big and upgraded it is an old hotel so the out side is dated. But its charming and the beds and pillows are amazing. Its kept up with for the most part on the outside. The gardens around the property were pretty.. the view was great. U see the freeway but also the beautiful beach. I was really pleased. Parking is not included its 10 dallors a day. So thats annoying. And breakfast will feed u but wont taste good.
The breakfast is pitiful, there's a very noisy freeway between the hotel and the ocean. However, I appreciated the room with a fireplace; does it ever get warm in Ventura?
