This is our second vacation at the Bay Club 2… it has everything you need and want in a place to stay and it’s close to shops and restaurants.. you can drive to the beach or ride the tram
We recently stayed at Wyndham Bay Club II in Sandestin and overall had a very positive experience. It’s a peaceful property in a great Destin location and worked well for a relaxing stay. What we loved: The unit had updated décor and felt fresh and comfortable. We especially appreciated having ceiling fans in every room—such a small detail that makes a big difference in Florida. Very average condo. The resort "Sandestin" in which this property resides is very confusing to navigate, and there's very little to do. The pools are very below average, and you have to pay for everything, including the pickleball courts. The unit was dated and had a weird smell. Definitely won't be choosing this location again.
The resort overall is great with 4 golf courses and beach access. We were actually in the Wyndham Bay Club building #1. The room was very dated with cheap, uncomfortable furniture. The common areas were junky and dirty. The whole building interior is seedy and needs a good revamp.
