My husband and I just spent our honeymoon at the Rustic Cabin of Wyandot Woods. Though our trip was not horrible by any means, we were disappointed in a couple things during our stay. The burn pit was on a slant and we could not sit anywhere near the bonfire without feeling as if we were going to topple over. This also meant that our fire required constant management to keep the logs from rolling down the hill towards the cabin. Honestly the best camping trip I've ever had and my first time in a cabin. My friends and I loved the hot tub and deck the best plus you really can't beat the view of the stars at night around the pond.

We have been going for about 17 years. Stay mostly in the Squirrels Nest. Always leave our dog food out and never seen a mouse in any of the cabins. The old owners let it get run down and the new owners have done a lot. Every time we go we can see many things they have fixed or upgraded. Docks are all fixed. Owners are amazing. We have met him at least 4 times, very pleasant. Amanda is always friendly and helpful with all our needs.

If you plan on going don’t bother driving a car because you will bottom out in several places going up and down the driveway due to poor grooming. For the amount of money spent, the cabin we stayed in seemed very poorly maintained. The shower faucet was on upside down along with the kitchen sink faucets, wires showing instead of being tucked into walls, etc. the hot Tub had so much chlorine in it that you couldn’t even stand next to it with the cover off because your eyes would burn so bad so we couldn’t even enjoy that. If you come here and bring food I highly recommend bringing a large storage container that has a lid to keep everything in because there are mice and they will get into your food. Also recommend bringing fans we stayed in the squirrels nest and there is one window air conditioner in the kitchen so the bedrooms were very humid/warm. Our hot tub had so much chlorine in it that even just removing the cover would make your eyes burn. The pond was beautiful but it’s definitely overpriced and not worth the money we paid.
