I just read another review of this place from people who had a horrible experience with the front desk staff. I have had a similar experience a few times now. The Dr. is great, in fact awesome, the Nurse assistant is awesome, the X-ray tech is incredibly kind and professional, what a great team!!!!! The issue is the front desk. They are unfriendly, unkind, borderline rude. In my opinion, there is no place in the healthcare field for them. I can’t recommend Dr. Dan enough! He has been a wonderful doctor to my family. His staff are also kind and responsive.
I am lying here in room 122 at CCMC PARKERSBURG, WV WITH ICY FINGERS AND TOES in a room with a faulty thermostat ON A BED THAT RESEMBLES A HORSE FROM A THREE STOOGES SPOOF WITH A SWAY BACK. I HAVE ASKED FOR A REAL BED AND HAVE BEEN IGNORED FOR 24 HOURS. I AM ASHAMED OF THIS HOSPITAL AND ITS COO DUKE RUPERT FOR DOING NOTHING.
Just had a telehealth visit for my daughter. We mostly needed a doctors note because of how strict the new WV laws are on school absences are. She only has cold symptoms but woke up feeling really yucky today. She’s stuck it out most of the week but I really didn’t want to push her more. The doctor was so understanding and compassionate with how parents are managing these new absence laws. She was quick and to the point but still thorough and gave the needed time. Very happy with our visit!
Forty years I have been there. I started out with Dr. Nau. He was the best. Things got worse as time proceded on. Pharmacy called in my meds to the office. Took along time to refill. I took the initiative to ride down to ask for my meds. Alot!. What hurt me the most. I called to talk to a nurse to have my prescription refilled . I Was told my Dr. Wasn't in. Worst experience of all time. Highly suggest finding another doctor.
Over all the south tower is great Drs are great some nurses in ICU are very slow at answering patients call lights and don’t say their busy cause it took 15 minutes before they answered my love because I was there happened several times and the nurses were in middle area of nurses station laughing and caring on which is crap considering we traveled 4&1/2 hours to get here. In cafeteria the tables have not been wiped off cause I’ve been here for 6 days now and we’re I set has been sticky and they only offer one kind of Starbu... read more
Have post operative osteomyelitis for 3 years now. facility is not competent to cure this infection and do not refer to another institution for consultation, posing life threatening complications, pain and suffering. You cover yourself to not be sued, instead of doing right by the person harmed.
Terrible customer service.
