This was the only place my state insurance would cover, go figure they'd rather pawn off dental work to university students and probably get a HUGE tax writeoff. Anyway thats all they are, students, so they have little experience and it shows. #31 extraction took nearly two hours cause my roots arent straight, so they kept having to call in others to try and get the roots out. Told them both sides of my mouth feels like its chipped and they said theres nothing wrong with it. Went to another dentist and found out that I was missing 3 fillings. Ask them if they do polishing after a cleaning and they would say what's that. GL people
Our experience with the dental students here was phenomenal. The dental students are very professional and polite, and they were able to do an extraction on my partner fairly quickly, for it being urgent care. That part of our visit was great. It took us from 8:10-8:25 to get checked in and he was seen around 10:20ish. the extraction was done around 11:30 and we were out the door by 12 at the latest. AVOID. Went to a real dentist after this, and the real dentist said I didn’t have cavities, which means the fake dentists at WVU drilled into another healthy tooth to get money. The students are supervised to experiment on healthy teeth because patients are poor. Wish I sent this sooner. Take care y’all
