I saw David Wright PA this morning at Athens Orthopedic. He was professional, listened to me patiently & addressed my concerns. The entire office staff who treated me was efficient & prompt. I would recommend David Wright & Athens Orthopedic.

I came in with pain in my ankle, which I had surgery on a few years ago. I was concerned since I had no injury and I've had problems with this ankle for years. He brushed off my concerns as "inflammation" and told me to take ibuprofen and rest (as if I hadn't already tried that) and come back in a month. No MRI or additional tests were ordered aside from x-rays. Finally on the follow up he ordered an MRI and gave me a brace for it until I could see his supervisor Dr. Johnson. I have been very impressed with the care I've received from David Wright. I live in Milledgeville and have driven to Athens for followup appointments after I sprained my ankle while camping about 35 miles on the other side of Athens. I received emergency care at Athens Orthopedic Clinic the day of the accident and was referred to PA Wright for followup. David Wright has been impressive in his attention to me. Very pleased.
This is Barry's wife writing this review. We had an appointment with David Wright as my husband was having heel pain in the foot/ankle that was broken in a car wreck. We thought perhaps pins were coming out. When the PA entered the room, he had a student shadowing him. He introduced himself and the student to my husband and never even acknowledged that I was in the room. It really was unprofessional and rude.
