Our room was light and bright with a large picture window and pleasant tree view. We could not hear any traffic noise, despite proximity to freeway. The mini kitchen was well appointed, fridge large enough to hold wine, juice etc and freezer kept our gelato cold. The entire staff was friendly, informative and accessible with a special shout out to Ariane for helping us resolve a noisy hvac situation perfectly. The only reason I’m giving them a 2 star review is because the cleaning staff was amazing in trying to help. We stayed in one of their rooms recently and woke the next day with bed bug bites, and even found a few still in the bedding. The cleaning staff was apologetic and even offered to wash all of our clothes as a precaution. We were moved to a different room, but in the second room the pull out showed evidence of bed bugs and we decided to move to a different hotel. The location was ideal, but the building may require some improvements to ensure the elevator operates consistently. The building has five stories, and the last time we were there, the elevator malfunctioned. While ascending the stairs was not a significant inconvenience, the following morning, we were forced to descend the stairs with our luggage, including three children, two of whom were toddlers and a newborn.
