I’ve called twice recently and left my info with someone who said someone would get back to me. It’s been a few months now with no call back. I used to use them all the time. Guess I’ll try AAA!
We called in June to discuss an Alaska cruise next year. We were told “no hurry, plenty of time to book, we don’t book until the 2019 brochures are out. I will call you when we get the new brochures. Never got a call, finally called her the middle of August and got such lousy information and nothing about any sailing date, etc. Well, guess what. I went to AAA and another travel agent Bookings were pretty full, options limited. The lady we dealt with was uninformed and clueless Don’t waste your time.
They handled my 2012 trip to South India and made it very smooth! I have learned that when you fly out of the country, use a brick-and-mortar agency that will help you when you need it. The onlines just pass you to someone reading a script from somewhere offshore.
