little to late! Been a member to this gym for about 7yrs now and it has gone way down hill! The owner removed alot of free weights and machines and is now foucsing on cardio, I mean alot of cardio that is all that is left. Two other gyms are going in in the area and now he wants to remodel the place or at least try. Alot of the members that have been there for years are leaving and going to golds that is opening down the street. World Gym is a fine place to work out 5000) I have been a member for over 9 years. The gym is clean and the management friendly. They seem to always be adding new machines and upgrading. Parking is easy (don't know what the one review was talking about?). The clients range in age from teens to senior citizens and the atmosphere is friendly. There is a lot of cardio, which is great, because there is not ever a long wait to get on the machines.I do wish the weekend hours were longer.

Best I've seen I had been a member for 9 years and had to take about 2 years off for health reasons. Just rejoined again and I'm very impressed with the additional resistance and cardio equipment. The condition of all the equipment is very well maintained. I can't say enough good about the staff - very friendly! I've lived in different areas and have worked out at gyms for over 30 years, and I can tell you honestly that this is the best I've seen.

New Customer - long time "gym rat" I recently moved to the area and joined world gym on st lawrence ave. I have found the staff to be very friendly and caring, especially early mornings (when I generally go) weekend hours could start a little earlier, but other than that, no complaints. Love the sauna, new equipment and trainers almost always available to help. lotsa tv's, if you're into that. World Gym is a great place! Dave is the best in mornings! I have been a member at World Gym for 2 years and absolutely love this place. old is not gold The facilities are quite nice, particularly the restrooms/changing area and the aroma/light therapy room. However, the gym's benefits end here. The classes are limited, the yoga program has been all but eliminated, parking is a nightmare, and the gym is usually stuffy and overcrowded. The hours are ridiculous and closed very early on Saturdays. Much of the equipment looks antique. Home I started training here 8 yrs ago, LOVE this gym. It's home to me. As a regular I got to know all the staff well. Gym is always well equipped and clean.

Love this Gym I found this website by accident and felt I had to put in a positive plug for World Gym, the owner and the great staff. I have been going to World Gym in St. Lawrence for about 5 years now. I love this place! It is my second home. The staff is great, the owner is great and I always feel "at home". The equipment is fine and anyone can get a great workout with what they have to offer.
