Increased profits through worker redundancy is clearly top priority for Woolworths. Did a scan and go shop, scanned everything, and when I go to pay it flags me for theft. The poor woman working at the self serve checkouts (1 person for 15 always busy machines) had to manually rescan the majority of my items to "prove" that I haven't stolen anything. If woolworths stopped being so money hungry and actually decided to hire employees to scan items for people, I guarantee they would see a significant decrease in theft. Instead ... read more
