Mean customer service. At 3pm Moday 20th July 2026, there was just one till open at Bendigo Marketplace Woolworths. That till had a long queue so we had to use "self checkout". One of the items didn't scan. Two staff members were talking to eachother. They ignored our troubles and the one attendant eventually came over - looking bored. She told me it was my fault that the item wasn't scanning - because I was holding it in the wrong hand. I told her I don't have training in using the checkout. Thursday 9th July about midday checkouts 4. Most helpful girl assisting an wheelchair person to pack her purchases into a bag on the back of wheelchair. Had time to be helpful with a cheerful attitude an employer of any business would want to have. Star of the month for me made us feel welcome.
