I recently visited Woolfson Eye Institute in Lawrenceville, GA for my 6 month checkup. During that visit refills on eye drop were submitted to CVS on Pike St. This office is very professional and busy. When I went to CVS to pick up my prescriptions they were not submitted to be refilled. The Pharmacist sent a request to them no response. I can’t say enough about the life-changing experience I’ve had with Dr. Zlotcavitch and the EVO ICL procedure at Woolfson Eye Institute. Nobody explained the process after the exam. I was told to get eyeglasses but nothing else. No word on where to go, how to get them, and it wasn’t even mentioned that I needed to use the disposable glasses after the exam to protect my eyes. I had to ask about everything—it seemed they were more concerned with getting my payment and having me leave. Patients do not know your procedures, so please do not assume we do. Very disappointed in this group. I went for an evaluation for cataract surgery. I was told by the doctor, that day, that my insurance would probably cover everything. I gave my insurance card to the front desk as requested. I was scheduled for another appointment with a surgeon. Went to that appointment and was told afterwards that my insurance would only cover part of the surgery and I would have to pay $2,600 per eye. I went in for a stye/chalazion removal and I was extremely nervous and anxious, and for no reason because Dr.Walwrath came in and exceeded my expectations and the procedure was done in maybe 5 minutes or less. He numbed my eye (I didn’t feel a thing btw) made an incision, removed what was inside causing the stye and done. It is now 10 days later and I am so happy with the results. He was very welcoming and personable…I loved my experience with him. THANK YOU DR.WALWRATH!!
