I've been with Dr. Luft for months since I had a laser repair of a large tear. The support staff here is amazing from the front desk through the vision check and imaging and checkout staff. It is a well oiled machine for the very popular eye institute. Dr. Luft has an amazing chairside manner. High energy makes those connections. He sees a lot of patient', but when he's with you, he is with you! He really cares.
After several visits to Dr Brody with a somewhat unusual problem, not cataracts, they suddenly stopped communicating. I left multiple messages with his personal staff and never got a response. Very unprofessional, and I have now moved on to another specialist. They run a cataract factory at Woolfson and apparantly have little interest in anything else.
Dr Leff is the most amazing Dr. and person! He's a doctor who actually cares about his patients! Thank you so much for all your kindness!
A friend of mine needs cataract surgery. She was trying to decide whether she wanted to spend the money for the laser procedure. She called the office and asked what the difference in outcomes was. The person she spoke to told her that if she had the laser procedure she would be able to see much better. With the non laser procedure, her vision would not be any better than it was currently. My son recently had ICL surgery and went from worse than 20/500 vision to 20/15 vision. Dr. Zlocavitch made us feel very comfortable and gave us a cell number to call anytime if there were complications after surgery. We are very happy with our experience.
