Recommendedi really enjoyed the Wool Room. I made an eggplant and decided I would work on an anti-pasta plate. I can't wait until Friday, June 14 to work on it some more. The Wool Room is well equipment. All the attendees were fun and Irene really knows her stuff. Thanks to Mary Jo, we have a place to work on these things. Thanks goes out to you Mary Jo.

If you have acquired a yen to dabble in the Fibre Arts or are a seasoned crafts person there is plenty here catch your eye! This facility is one of the brightest gems of the Historic Seventh Avenue District.
This is a very relaxed, comfortable place to learn and to shop! Mary Jo is so easy-going and kind! All kinds of supplies here!
Southern Hospitality is alive & well at The Wool Room. Went in needing guidance on knitting my first pair of socks. Left with patterns in hand (printed for me), lovely yarn (wound for me) and sage advice. Who could ask for more?

MaryJo, the owner, has beautiful wool, scarves, rugs etc. She is a very patient person, and I'm looking forward to learning how to knit or make a rug, something constructive & pretty for me, a friend or my apt. Yesterday we made blankets for Friends2Ferals: a non-profit organization. I highly recommend if you're interested in learning something new or just need some yarn, wool etc. to check out The Wool Room in Hendersonville.
