Great food, but shy on the tri tip amount! Barely enough to make a small bread sandwich.2 thin pieces .

I am a kinda tough restaurant reviewer. This place blew my mind. Minutes after being seated, delicious beans, soup, salsa and bread were dumped on our table by a very kind waitress. Funny thing, I had not even asked for them. It did not matter, I NEEDED them, lol. I could have stopped there , really as good as it was. But NO! Then comes a salad and Tomato/red onion/bell pepper service. And then the Mains,,,,garlic chicken/fries. 2 things. Like everything in life, this place has changed. We ordered the entrees 1) cheese burger 2)ox tail. We were asked if We would like vegetable soup. Who doesn't? We were were not told we would be charged $5.00 , more per person. I think almost everyone would like a choice. (Did not know until I got my bill). I was i in a hurry and called, later to inquire, about the added fee. Spoke to "Linda (hostess) who asked me if we had extra soup, which we did not. I was just passing by Bakersfield and stopped randomly for lunch, this was the biggest surprise ever, soup, salad, main entree, everything was delicious and reminded me of Romanian food
