January 11, 2021 Today I purchased two baked kibbee meals with their Lebanese salad. I have been a customer for years. I have not been in a while because I moved out of town, and because of covid. Today I got food for myself and my sister who is on the hospital, and tired of hospital food. Absolutely disappointed. The kibbee(sp) was very dry. The salad was awful. Not the salad I am used to. RecommendedYou just can’t go to East Lansing without getting Woody’s! My husband and I love that they will package everything up separately so you can create the sandwich when you get home! The food tastes just as great fresh as it does reheated! Not only is their food spectacular, but the customer service is unbeatable! We will drive over an hour jus to get their food because it’s the best we’ve ever had!
Best middle eastern food near west Michigan!
The beef 🥩 kabobs were so good, I tried chewing in slow motion to extend the amazing flavor. I’m usually a gyro 🥙 kind of guy but she recommended the beef kabobs. I asked for salad 🥗 instead of rice 🍚 which was no problem. I also got hummus and pita with it and feta cheese on the side. There were two huge steak kabobs cooked perfectly medium rare with chopped bell peppers and onions. They were very juicy and tender and the salad was loaded with cubed veggies. I was hosting a small event with ten people and got food from Woody's. They went overboard! I had enough for twenty so we enjoyed leftovers for days. They threw in extras like extra grape leaves and lots of bread. Everything was packaged beautifully. And, of course, the very best food!
Although posted on the door that masks are being worn by employees they were all pulled down under their chins. Take down the sign so we don’t bother coming in again for high risk people.
Woody's is the best Middle Eastern food anywhere! Great friendly people, healthy, quality food, the real deal. I have been eating at Woody's several times a week for the past 28 years!
