They evicted us. Gave us a 90 day notice to vacate right before holidays. I understand business is business, but maybe giving the tenants a heads up in advance possibly earlier in the process would’ve be nice. I could forgive all the other issues. The constantly broken front door. Completely blacked out cat walk. Low water pressure. Furnace that kicks so loud it wakes you outta your sleep. Random Charges on your utility bill. Their management is extremely disorganized. I moved out from their apartment on 11/30/2022 and never received my security deposit back. I have called the manager Jonathan multiple times and was informed that there were wrong charges made to my account that were finally corrected and the check was sent but I never received. When I called the corporate office nobody replied. Looking into filling a small claim.
I lived here for 5 years and absolutely loved it! Location was perfect. Units were large with more than generous bedroom space. Maintenance calls were resolved the same day and it was probably the cheapest rent in Royal Oak. I was paying $800 for a 2 bedroom unit! March 2021, the entire East building got evicted, given 90 days to get out. Mgmt company had to make improvements to building. We were told we could apply and move back "early 2022". a new owner bought the place and evicted everyone in the building on 90 day notice on Thanksgiving. Didn't give a single f about any one of us. Just ignored all our calls, still charged us full price, no help moving out, nothing. Not even a working emergency line. Live here if you like landlords that don't care about you
