I love the spirit and diversity of the films selected for this festival. The panel discussions always expand my awareness and leave me feeling optimistic.
We are so lucky to have this amazing event right here! Films from all over the world that would otherwise never be seen, so many concerts, panels, parties! Thank you for all the effort and love it takes to make this festival! Long may you continue!!
Well run, fantastic curation, supports filmmakers!
It would be nice if they supported local films and filmmakers. Big names are great, but there are a lot of small filmmakers in the Catskill/Hudson Valley area. Supporting their work should be higher on your agenda.
Mine and others experiences leave a lot to be desired dealing with the Founder of The Festival. Many have donated Art or Services and treated Horrible. The Founder has a couple DWI's. NOT the type of project many want to be connected to.
Why go to Sundance when you can come to Woodstock. Musicians could have gathered anywhere in the world to have a festival - where was the most iconic festival held Woodstock. #AmyHastings and associate visionaries have brought time travel alive in a small community called Woodstock - if your a producer, director, actor - here is where you want a critical audience who embraces what's new and old again. This festival is such a big deal for rural Ulster County. The way the festival is run enables at least 100 or more volunteers to get up close and personal with the magic of film making. You are given opportunities to become involved, as much as you’d like. If you have a passion for interacting with people, creating sets to decorate venues, presenting and serving food, photographing the people presenting films, and helping the festival create a buzz for our beloved Hudson Valley, there is a place for you. I feel so honored to be a volunteer at this years festival and will definitely be attending in the future!! I have a whole new appreciation and knowledge of all aspects of the film industry. Definitely something to try and get out to attend if you can!
