Members of my family have seen Dr. Woods for shoulder surgery, carpal tunnel surgery & an elbow fracture. They were all very pleased with the outcome & liked Dr. Woods very much!
Dr. Woods is a compassionate, intelligent, friendly doctor who patiently listens and gives answers with a smile in terms everyone can understand. My mother & I both have gone to him and would highly recommend him to everyone. As a member of the Mercy Health system, appointments are easily made (online or via phone), and he is conveniently located on Route 46 in Howland, at the Howland Medical Clinic. The clinic can do blood work, X-rays, MRIs, sonograms, rehab--don't have to go anywhere else.
Dr. Woods repaired my shoulder and I could not be happier . The rehab was a lot of work but being pain free was worth it. Five Stare Staff and Dr.
I see Dr Woods once every 90 days and have done so for many years. Recently my problem hip replacement (femur split when hip replacement stem was inserted and a lot of surgical wire was used to help hold it in place) caused me to fall and further injure hip. I made many calls to their office and they refused to call me back. They let me stay bed ridden for days. I have no use for Mercy Health and Dr. Woods as they have proved their worth to me. Be aware and go somewhere else!
I had a torn left meniscus and had Dr. Woods performed surgery on it in March 2016. I had no pain after surgery. I followed all home exercises he prescribed and six weeks after surgery I was discharged from his care. Its like I have a new knee. His staff was kind and considerate and Dr. Woods had explained my surgery very well before hand. He is very compassionate with his patients. I would recommend Dr. Woods......he is the best!
I had a hip replacement. He is the most compationenat Dr I have ever met. Also very little pain after surgery.icant say enough great things about him. Walking now with no pain.
Dr Woods fixed my torn Rotator Cuff, and within a week it was feeling better than in 25 years. I had torn it playing baseball in 1987. He also performed a complete knee replacement for me. 7 months out, and it has been a process, but I am better than I had been the previous 5 years. I am not on crutches, and I do not wear a brace, so much better.
