My mother purchased a home with cash on July 7, 2020. The check cleared July 9. They brought the home less than two weeks later. My mother is still not in her home. They just finished the set up a couple days ago. So we are just now about to get electricity hooked up then wait for them to do a final inspection. Two months for them to do connecting and siding. They would show up and leave after an hour or two. Then not show up again for a few weeks. Ridiculous!! I would never recommend this place. In fact, I tell anybody I ca... read more
While Heather was nice they quoted a home for 4k less via email then when I went to purchase the home it was 4k more then the price quoted. They dont seem to want to make a cash sale so lost my buisness and didn't even seem to want to negotiate the price. I suggest going to clayton they immediately went to the negotiating table and I got the same home I wanted for 6k less then at woods. DO NOT SHOP HERE FOR A HOME.......
The people that work at the business are kind and attentive. However, the set up crew came in and made a huge mess. The home did not pass inspection for a couple of reasons. The pillars were set on loose dirt, the marriage beam did not pass inspection, and the home was shifting. Also, they waited so long to come back and complete the set up, that the home got wet. We have had our home for 2 years now, I am very pleased with our beautiful home. We had some "kinks" that had to be worked out and they were taken care of immediately. Would use them again if need be!

Going on 4 years living in our new home from Woods, it took longer to get our house in than expected, because of bad weather that year.. no fault of theirs. We, still enjoy living in it, only one thing we, would of changed , was to look at the four bedrooms ones, just to see what the difference would be..they were very helpful in showing us as many of the houses as we, wanted to look at..but , when we, walked in this one, we, New it was the one..
My husband and I came to the lot Saturday to look at some homes. Most were locked and nobody came out of the office to help us. We were hoping to buy but I guess not from Woods.
Would highly recommend Woods , they give you a more personnel touch than any other mobile home dealership from Newport to Chatanooga. Conley & Lisa
