running 2 woods mowers, 1st day with a new woods BW15.50 mower, air craft tire blew out, turns out all the tires are used and have cords showing. The other one the weld broke on the rear frame mount and both pins at the back broke. The new mower has plastic shields and if the pto is not turned perfectly you can’t grease it. The old style has flip up metal shields that can easily be greased. Grease zerks fall out, we have had 3 grease zerks that come out. Had to tap them and install new ones. Purchased Woods bush hog with a 10 year rust thru warranty on it. After 7 years the weld rusted thru and they refuse to honor the warranty saying the bush hog was improperly cared for or stored. So Do Not purchase anything from Woods that has a warranty because it is not worth what it is written on. The customer service has a lot to be desired also. Horrible customer service on top of a horribly assembled piece of equipment. The HD auger is NOT HD at all and uses the cheapest overseas hardware available. One built out of cardboard would be stronger.
Used their 15 foot rotary cutter for around 40 hrs and one of the highdraulic cylinders started leaking oil. The cylinder itself was covered under warranty but I would have to either trailer the rotary cutter back to where I purchased it or take the cylinder off myself and then take it to the dealer to be repaired. I contacted the dealer first and then the manufacturer and received the same answer. I guess you just don't get much for $ 19,000.00 any more
