My fur babies and I were very comfortable with the staff. They are all so caring and kind. My pup, Frankie was diagnosed (correctly) and treated quickly. My kitty, BB had a great check up. Woodlawn Vet is reasonably priced. I highly recommend Dr. B and his staff!
I brought my Jack Russell in on Saturday for a large hematoma. The vet told me to 'just watch it' and prescribed Rimadyl. The hematoma burst over the weekend, so I followed up on Tuesday. Despite this being a direct complication of the visit three days prior, I was charged a second full exam fee. Even worse, the owner/vet dismissed my explanation of the hematoma and claimed my dog just 'snagged his side.' Giving two stars because the vet assistant was very calm and friendly but otherwise a horrible experience. It was my first visit to a vet with my dog. I've since gone to another vet and feel that my pup is in better hands elsewhere. The filing system seems to be outdated and disorganized. I had to call multiple times to verify I actually had an appointment and then received a jumbled file of illegible handwritten documents when I asked for his records. Dr Benson and his staff go above and beyond to care for your fur babies. There’s not enough space in this review to explain all of the wonderful experiences we have had at this veterinary hospital so I will sum it up with this: whether they are big or small, scared, anxious, sick, injured, in need of surgery, having an emergency, or even crossing over the rainbow bridge, Dr B will be able to do it all and he does it with absolute kindness compassion and skill.
