Here now! Been coming for years. One of my favorite places!
Home; been going there since I was 6 months old. Love the bar burgers there, love the smell, love the atmosphere of music, sports tv, and good conversation! Beer choices are good, too!
Nothing makes me laugh harder than the idea of Jimmy's having a menu. A great get a shot amd a beer bar; the Old Style was always cold and the shot was generously poured. And the food? Jim or Bill Calahan made the chili and Maxcine was in charge of the griddle. It's a great neighborhood bar.

Sadly, Maxine and Jim are both gone, but the beer is still ice cold and the menu is just because, well, kids these days...🙄
When I worked for the U of C me and others would have lunch there. We also had many after work party's Jimmy was a wonderful man carrying about everyone. His staff followed his way of life. I miss you all so very much God bless.
Nice place only thing i had a problem with is parking food was good drinks were also very nice atmosphere
