In my opinion just not a very good hospital with a few good doctors
When I checked into the er the nurse came out and said we will be with u in a few we are moving a dead body right now. Not professional at all.
The whole staff at Woodlawn is so nice and helpful. The oncology staff is so wonderful and very caring.
The er is absolutely awful. I had a concussion and a seizure before coming in but did not receive care for it until I had two more seizures on the table. They insisted it was drug related and continued giving me medications for only that and the nurses couldn't tell I was having a seizure. two nurses took turns trying to give me an iv. I heard one cussing and another just jamming it in my skin while blood was going all over my arm. Took them busting three veins to realize they were using a needle too large. I see some really great people working here. Unfortunately there are some who make the rest look bad. I was kept in ICU for obsevation and it was the loudest most unprofessional unit I have ever witnessed. Nurses are yelling and talking loudly. Discussing supervisors hours and their hours. Apparently its up to Kate to get a day off of their crazy hours. And wanting them on call..ugh. And to top it off they are ordering Pizza Hut like... loudly.
