I lived there from the summer of 2011 to the fall of 2012. When I was first looking into moving into the apartment, Dawn went out of her way to see me whenever I needed to. The apartment I was shown was disgustingly filthy and the floors and carpets were filthy beyond belief, the bathroom walls around the shower were falling apart and full of mold. All the positive reviews are written by Dawn and her lackeys. Slumlords, dirty, no maintenance, flooding, mold, no garbage pickup, creepy tenants, laundry machines steal money. Get sued and lose quite often, look it up!!! F---
I grew up in carlton house, which is next door to woodland. when i was younger Holiday Terrace, as woodland used to be known was a place that you would cross the street to avoid walking past, it is now the exact opposite, as the carlton has gone down the crapper. Dawn has done an excellent job of cleaning up the place. Things are beginning to lack here, but if Dawn isnt given the resources to do so, what can you expect? Woodland apartments is awesome!!! Anyone who says different is just wrong. I moved into these apartments in March 2011, Ive lived in both buildings & the management & maintenance have always been very friendly, helpfull & do a wonderful job. The tenants that complain are also the tenants who feel everything should be done at their beck & call & even on holidays there minimal requests should be met, they also seem to think because its an apartment they dont have to do anything for themselves, not even watch their kids or go o... read more
By far the worst management I have ever experienced living in an apartment. Something breaks good luck getting it fixed, with 2 full time maintenance guys nothing ever gets taken care of. You can tell the manager Dawn literally dozens of times and she does nothing (in person, by writing, on the phone). They pay for your heat but regulate it so it cant go past 72. If you like Drugs, Bugs, Drama, Two faced people, then your going to love it here! If you can reoair anything that breaks yourself. Dont mind loose barking dogs, loose boards on slippery wooden decks, and have a strong back to remove the snow. And if you really dont mind having your place flooded by sewer water from time to time. Then this is the place for you!!!!!!!! ENJOY your stay!!!!!!!
Ha! Clearly the last entry came from Dawn. Especially obvious by stating the very things Dumb, oops I mean Dawn, is always complaining about. "Beck and call" not to mention talking herself and the place up enough. Youre better off living in a cardboard box on the side of the street than giving your hard earned cash to these slumlords. If you love bs and nonsense Woodland is the place for you, but youre better than that and deserve better than that. DO NOT RENT HERE YOU WILL ABSOLUTELY 100%+ REGRET IT! KEEP LOOKING!!!
I have lived in these apartments 3 times and Dawn is the only manager that has tried and successfully made them look nice. There are alot of good people that live here. The reviews I have read are totally wrong and if you only knew how hard itis to keep this place going you would agree with me. I have been in managment all my life and Dawn is doing the best she can with what she has to work with. You need to give her a break and start looking at the whole picture. This place sucks! There are weird people roaming around at all hours. The dumpsters were always overflowing. Someone told me that neither their carbon monoxide or smoke detectors worked when they moved in. The place is poorly maintained, and calls to management go unanswered or even returned, The new manager was supposed to be better, but if anything its only gotten worse!
