I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone! Steer clear of it and find another place to live!!! I have lived here for almost a year, and I WILL NOT be renewing my lease. This is the 3rd apartment complex that I have lived in and by far the worst one! I have had NUMEROUS issues here and the leasing office continues to half ass fix the problem, or they don't fix it at all! The current temperature in Houston is 95 degrees outside. Woodlake on the Bayou Sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!! – I totally agreed with all one star reviews. Thank you all for letting me know I am not the only one feel that way! I would not recommend this apartment to anyone as you would feel you are on your own all the time with the maintenance issues and you will feel frustrated. great place, actually – Unlike what the others have said before me, I actually enjoy living at woodlake on the bayou and I know my neighbors do too.
Dooooo Not Moooove IN! ITs A NASTY UNSAFE PLACE TO LIVE – Woodlake On the Bayou is an unsafe place to live. Your inside a gated community with a security hut and no security. There is no reason to use the gate clicker, you can walk up and push the gate open. Management the short female with short black hair is useless. Management Sucks as does the owner-Richdale – Infested with ro@ches and other vaious bugs, frequent car break-ins, burglaries and robberies. Spoke with corporate office about hiring security and they said no...absolutely no...no plans in the future for it either. They say all of the crime is justfied by calling them "isolated incidents". They also mentioned that Houston was a high crime area anyway. Not asking them to solve Houston crime just help pevent the crime in the Woodlake on the Bayou community. Lousy Management – Woodlake on the Bayou has a poor decentralized management model, which makes it hard to get issues resolved. Corporate office keeps passing the bark and will not follow up on issues while onsite management will refer you to their Richdale office so as to avoid dealing with issues such as overcharging and giving your deposit back. Do yourself a favor - live somewhere else. – The price is what brought me to this place because it is less expensive than most of the competition. However, I soon regretted that decision. The apartmnets are falling apart. The maintenance staff is awful - they do not respond to inquiries for weeks. The laundry room has holes in the walls everywhere, and two of the 5 washers leak badly - it floods every time you do laundry. Not Good. – If you are looking for a place that is clean, then woodlake is not the place to go. People do not clean up after their dogs. Also when you go and work out the place is a mess. Everytime that you say something to them nothing gets done. It's bad. the same thing with the main pool by the office. I had to move out it was sooo bad.
