These reviews must be plants – The 1/2 dungeness crab was overcooked and dry. My wife's seafood ravioli was almost put together with Elmer's glue. There is no atmosphere here at all, aside from the Safeway sign across the street. Our waiter was wearing sunglasses at every visit (even after the sun went down), and when we asked to have the ravioli boxed up, he brought us a flat box that we had to build ourselves and slop the stuff in there with the fork and geeze, it was my 32nd birthday. It looked good from the reviews and a... read more

RE: WICKED Good Chowda!! – Well, I must say that I am highly dissapointed to return here for dinner and hear that the smiley guy with the glasses and accent is no longer there. How can a place trying to represent a New England style restaurant have no employees (including owners) from New England? Sad to say folks but I must say this place has gone down hill pretty fast. Since the opening, I've noticed that there is no longer a head chef either(even though he wasn't very friendly he made some mean chowda). This would greatly... read more

Add Woodhouse to your weekly Rotation – If you aren't rich and only drink in the kitchen then like me you probably have a weekly rotation of casual restaurants you get food from during the course of the week. The rotation consists of the basics, restaurants that are close to your house require little effort and less money. Burritos, burgers, maybe some pasta and sandwiches round out the core of the rotation. The problem is the rotation gets old so new places must be found, but usually theses trials end in failure with high p... read more

Just like Home....in Boston – Excellent Seafood. The chowder, lobster, and crab-stuffed artichoke are delicous. Much like its casual New England inspired interior suggests, its menu is characteristically well-prepared and tasty.

High Quality, Simple Seafood – Quality seafood and generous portions is what makes this place great. The atmosphere is casual and the service is prompt and courteous. You won't be dissappointed.

Fresh seafood, great staff, easy on the wallet – Went there on a date last weekend. Oysters for sure ;-) Make sure to start with the chowder and finish with the lobster. Good call. Also, try and sit Dylan down (hes the owner) for an interesting conversation

Best brunch spot – This is what a true san francisco restaurant is supposed to be like... great seafood and great ambiance. This is the perfect brunch spot, it is super relaxed but still has that clean look, and I love the bowls the oysters are served in. Oh, and the service is great!

My Savior on Market – I've been looking for a place like this in SF for years! fresh, quality, no nonsense seafood.. try the new england roll, an incredible crab meat sandwhich on a perfect toasted sub roll. good for east coast transplants, sea food aficionados or people just looking for quality food!

SFSF // San Francisco Sea Food – "New, exciting, surprizingly good food, excellent service. I feel with time, this restaurant would age well into the scene. (Like good wine).
